I need a clone!

How many of you would clone yourself? I just can't seem to catch up this year. Today I got another 95 acre job to brush hog and I am already booked up for the week with other jobs...have two 8' Bush Hogs but can't find anyone I trust to run one of my tractors and not tear it apart in the rocks.....

I think if I had a clone, I'd just have twice as much work and twice the headache keeping track of it all! Mostly because my clone would probably have the same difficulty in saying "NO"!

Newly retired fella was heard the other day saying that he was so busy since he retired, he felt he'd have to put another bloke on!!
Thought that was a great saying.

Well all you need is a 48 hour day, a 14 day week and around a 60 day month

When you find out how to have that happen let me know and I'll likely follow

If I was going to clone someone for help I
don't think I'd pick the closest person,
maybe shop around a bit lol

I'd have to have twice the tractors! Big Red was
down with a flat starting Saturday and I've been
mowing, raking, and baling hay one short. I moved
the rake, sprayer, round baler, and square baler
twice each yesterday. All because of one dumb flat.
The mobile guy better be here in an hour.

My uncle I lived with and worked for during my high school years used to constantly complain he just couldn't keep up with time...always
behind and overloaded with work........But shuit, the guy couldn't turn down a job if he thought he was gonna make a thin dime doing it. His own
farming enterprise was plenty enough, but he thought he had to do custom haylage and silage silo filling, chainsawing logs and sawmilling,
clover hulling and corn shredding/husking to pay for the machinery. It did'n't really because he got "stiffed" on about a third of the jobs...and it
wore out the machinery In about 3 years and put a lot of extra hours on the tractors. I left him because I couldn't get a day off and he was
behind paying me...on purpose I thought because he knew I was hot to get a car.

Eldon, there must be a reason you don't have a wing mower? Use
the 8' for the small jobs and the 15'wing for the 95ac. jobs. Way
too much seat time with 8' and 95 ac.

Most of the fields I do are 5-10 acre parcels and up to 40 miles from home, so I need something that I can haul and loads easy.
You would also tear up a batwing in no time with the rocks around here, an 8' is about right for spotting rocks ahead of time. In a big field I can knock out close to 40 acres a day with the 8', so it's not so bad.

Is the wife trainable for the bigger 95 acre type jobs? FWIW My wife will tear up an iron ball, but I still put her to work on the tractors on occasions when needed. I realize she is likely gonna tear up some stuff but might as well get some output from someone I am already paying dearly for as compared to hiring yet another 3rd party to tear up my stuff.

You're funny......

You should have thought of this 20 years ago. The problem with cloning yourself, or anyone else, is that all clones start out as babies. So your work load would suddenly increase with all the clone-diaper changing, clone-feedings and constant complaining about when your clone is finally going to start sleeping through the night. Also, you would find out all the things your mother said about what a difficult infant you were, are true!
