MF 135 AD3.152 Break In Instructions

Hello, I have finished my complete rebuild of my AD3.152, I want to fire it up in a few weeks after I finish painting the rest of the tractor (transmission housing etc) and was just wondering what the break in instructions would be for the new linings, pistons and rings?

No real break in required. But you do want to retorque the head bolts and adjust the valves after the first run up to temp.

read the manual. It was a few years before I paid attention to my AD3-152 diesel manual, where it says to DO NOT JUST idle it along. Warm it up for 3 minutes at 1200 RPM, operate at 1700 RPM. DO NOT just idle it along.
Get the manual, do what it says is my advice.
