Hey guys having trouble finding whats up with a 1988 silverado. When I put the right blinker on all the 4 ways come on. The other lights are working fine- left blinker, tail lights, and brake lights. Any ideas?

Had a similar problems before. The turn signal switch is bad.Pull the steering wheel.Might be fixable, but replacement of the switch will probably be needed.

As Delta say good chance the turn signal switch is bad but some times you can fool it by pulling the hazard flasher out if is not the same one as the turn signals. Don't know if it has one or 2 flashers I know my 1980 has two and I have done that at onetime to it

Had a problem like that once, and it turned out to be a rusty ground on the bed to the frame. Drove me about half crazy trying to find it.....

Before tearing into the steering column, make sure the dim and bright lamp filaments on the RH side are not shorted together, and check that the RH lamps are properly grounded, especially the rear one, which includes the possibility of the printed circuit board at the RH tailite having failed in the bulb ground circuit area.

Along with what Bob said, does it have a trailer plug? If so,it may have wires crossed inside it.If not,I would first lean towards a bad ground at the rear lamp assembly.Mark
