Is it worth the effort?

A fellow gave me a AC B that had been sitting for 10 years. I am rebuilding it. It came with a Snow plow set up. Cultivator, and a cyclic side arm mower. Cultivator is nice. Mower has been stored in a dry garage and is nice. Plow needs new sheet metal on welded on the front. If a sandblast all of these and paint them are they worth anything and how much should I ask?

Sounds like a good set up with lots of potential. It is pretty easy to get way more dollars in a project such as this than can be recouped. Of course if you find the "right' person searching for such a rig you could do well. Demand for that little tractor probably started to demiss 10-15 years ago. Post some pictures of your project. Could help your cause. Price wise I would not venture a guess. Enjoy your time with the old iron. gobble

If you have enjoyed it so far then complete it. Sickle bar mowers are awesome if they are completely rebuilt correctly. Mount up each piece of accessory and see if you have all of the parts. Does this one have regular petal brakes or hand brakes? Pedal is newer.

That tractor is a nice collector piece but not a money maker selling in even with the attachments. I know where there are two AC "B" that have been restored in the last 5 years or so. So nice tires and paint. Neither will bring over $1000. Even the attachments will not add but a few hundred to that price here. So that does not leave much room for fixing/blasting/painting. Now if your going to keep it and have a use for the attachments, than it can be a cheap setup to own.
