OT Wheelchair friendly bath

Been working in Lincoln (60 miles west of home) for 2 weeks! Fellow is in a chair, so we did some customizations in the master bath!

That's tough to find a good layout in a residential
remodel. Does he have a seat and bars in the
shower?

No seat in the shower, not sure what his plan is there! Grab bars got ordered (did not want the SS ones we stock) wrong, so don't ship until early January!

Greg he maybe looking at a newer roll around chair that you can shower on/in. I have a friend that has one and he says it is easier then transferring to a chair/seat in the wet/slick shower. HE actually switches in his bead room. HE just dries the chair off some after his shower then rolls into his bedroom. It is just a frame with wheels/brakes and some nylon straps. NO cushions or padding to hold water.

They are planning on a rail system which hangs from the ceiling. It has a powered trolley on it to move him. Talking about a turntable in the bathroom so they can swing him to the toilet or the shower! That still does not explain the seating in the shower itself!
