Off topic? Maybe not. If the worlds end, so do us fooling with tractors.

In the 70s we were warned of the coming new Ice Age. Now the converse?

Yesterday we got a new "Doomsday Clock" setting, partially due to our election of our new US leader.

Hey !! I thought Tiny Tim died years ago - but it looks like he just got older and is now on the panel of the Doomsday Clock team. Now a professor at Oxford University.

Hang on to your tractors !

Does this mean that Tim got lucky by checking out early, and the rest of us get to die in the next few years? Oh wait - at my age, that could happen anyway.

NBC had Chicken Little on the other night said the Sky Was falling and they had several folks on said it was the election that caused it and I thought it was the cause of the big Earthquake
in DC.

You are right, lot of fear tactics. Ever wonder why? IMHO I think the news media wants to control the way we view the world. They have a hidden agenda.

Just like the World Health Organization admits they have limited data on Roundup, yet they would like to see it gone. Or is there a hidden agenda, they would like to see genetic seeds that are roundup ready gone?

Fear of the unknown is always a powerful too. News media is a powerful tool too.

I delivered a heifer to a school teacher that lived in a refurbished log cabin south of Cincinnati the night Tiny Tim got married. Got into a bad ice storm coming home on I74 that night.
