Thank you! I do too, but not my wife-as a carpenter I have designed and finished our house as we saw it, but generally without her help. She does not want my photos on the walls, as then she has nothing that she did! I have 2 of my photos up!

The wing tip feathers in the picture of the American Bald, remind me of how feathers function. Ever notice that the main cord of a feather is not
centered and the way feathers in a wing lie on top of one another? That's the secret of flight. On the upstroke the wide part of the feather is
below the main cord of the adjacent feather and deflects releasing the pressure and allowing the wing to rise with little effort. On the down
stroke, the wide part presses against the bottom of the main cord of the adjacent feather locking it in place and forming an air barrier providing
lift. Nature. Fantastic.

good shots. bird photography is very challenging. on a recent trip to the Texas coast and the Valley I took over 300 pics. 32 were worth keeping and maybe 5 were print
worthy.
