Welll....if you have one of those little 4x8 trailers like I have then
you need to drop it this low. The rear of the trailer just clears the
surface of the road unless you use a 6 inch drop hitch. Just saying.

That's a factory made and not good for over so many lbs. Here's one just about like it and not good for anything over 2,000 lbs..

No, it isn't. Look closer.

That is a standard 2" square receiver hitch shank that someone flipped end for end, bolted to their (decorative) step bumper, and drilled a hole in for the hitch ball.
