Sickle bar on J.D. L

Can someone tell me how to I.D. this mower? I was going to try to order a parts manual if I can find out what model it is. Was there a few models or only one? The mower came off a '39 if that is any help. Thanks, Fritz

Can't say for sure on a '39, but later LA's used a #7 mower.

Should be 7 or 7c 7d was on LI and had hydraulic unit. Look up rusty acres tractor parts they have some of that stuff also the manual shows up on ebay often. There were lots of options for it.
