Best way to sell tractor?

Probably put an ad on craigslist. If you're on a road with decent traffic, park it out by the road with a price and a phone number too.

What makes you want to get rid of the 4020 though?

Let's make this real easy, OK? You bring it to my house, I plop down $2k in your hands, and we're done. See? Simple.

Sorry for the joke - the other posts give the best answer. Nothing more to be said there.

Craig's List, local farm paper or a consignment auction (10 percent or more commission fees at auctions).

If it has a turbocharger on it, remove the turbo and sell the turbo separately ($1,000+ for a good turbo kit). An add-on turbo is a sure sign the tractor has been overloaded and that reduces the resale value. If the tractor is a basket case, you may be ahead to strip off the more valuable options (weights, 3 pt, etc.) and sell those separately like some auctioneers like to do.

Hook it to an implement like you're using the tractor all the time and its your favorite, then advertise a another tractor for sale.People will come and look and think the 4020
is the best tractor you have because that's the one you're using and try to buy it.
