Measuring a 1 bottom plow

How do you measure a 1 bottom plow to know what size it is. I know how to measure a multiple bottom plow but not a single bottom. Is it just the length of the plow share? I need to find a new share for a plow I have and I suspect its a 14" plow.

Measure from the landslide to the heel of the plow bottom.

That is from the landside to the widest part of the share and unless the share is new the cut will be wider than that measurement by what is wore off the share. The measurement will work out the same for multiple bottom plows.
