Fuller 6 speed truck transmission in an International

I have been looking for a replacement transmission for my International Loadstar 1800 and ran across a Fuller six speed FS 6406 A transmission. These look very similar to the T496 and T699. I want to use this behind an MV446 gas engine. As near as I can tell these 6 speed transmissions were used in diesel international S1900 trucks. I know this is a stretch but anyone know if this would work in my loadstar?

I have been looking for T496 and T699 transmissions and there is nothing I have found in our area. I can find older T35 and T36 transmissions but that's about it.
 
Does your truck happen to have an SAE bellhousing? It would be round if it did. Then, is the transmission set up with an SAE mounting pattern? There are more than one size of SAE bellhousings, but a 2 and 3 are the most common in that sized application. Getting it bolted up would be the biggest hurdle.
 
If they both have an SAE 2 bellhousing, then you would just have to check input shaft diameter and spline count, and make sure it matches up with your clutch. Overall length matters a lot as well, if it isn't close, obviously driveshaft length will have to change. There are so many different ways different transmissions can be equipped, it's hard to take a guess a lot of times without some specs for each in hand.
 
You might try these guys, I saw their number associated with reman transmissions listed with all 3 of the transmission numbers you listed. They might at least know? Maybe this list will help some too? I know, hard to see it...

Big thing is length, and if the low gear is low enough to pull the load out from the field without tearing out the clutch. Yes if the low gear is not low enough the slippage on the clutch will take them out.
A guy we cut wheat for in ID had 13 speeds behind gas engines for digging spuds in Chevies.
