Have a Ford 5000 tractor with left warning light on dash panel.
The light has a lighting picture. I am guessing it is a warning light for electrical. Tractor runs OK, starts OK.
So what should I check in electrical?
Battery, alternator or starter wires?????

Thanks for the assistance.

If it is not getting hot then I don't think it is the belt slipping, generator or regulator problem and they have a Lucas generator that not all places can work on them.

If you have a volt meter, check across the battery with the engine running, RPM up around 1500 or higher.

Should get around 14.5 volts. If low, there is a problem with the charging system.
