Does anyone know what kind of motor my 841 powermaster ford has ? I've been trying to find out everywhere so I can get parts for it and everyone says they need to know what kind of motor it is before they can get the right part. All I can tell them is 4 cylinder diesel and I guess that's not enough

Look that last letter over good to see if it's a G or a C

C0NN-6015G is a 62-64 134 sleeveless block, 134 is a gas engine

C0NN 6015C is a 60-64 172D-G block

My 62 881D block is C0NN-6015J

My three guesses would have been 1. Ford. 2. Old. 3. Broken. Glad others were able to help you.

Not all of the diesels had balancers, it was added later but no sure what year.

I had a 59 871D that didn't have the balancer, my 62 881D does have one

My cheat sheet shows the C0NN6015G block to be a late 134 sleevless block. Since you are going to tear it down anyway, drop the oil pan. 172 diesels were equipped with a balance assembly.

I think this is the number you must be talking about. Conn6015

There were two different blocks used in the 172 diesel. Get the casting number off you block and re-post. The casing number should contain "6015", I don't think any of the 6 digit casting numbers (310XXX) were used in the diesels.
