Three Oliver 1250s - CL

I saw that ad quite a while ago. If the guy needed the money,he'd take them to the scrapper and get it over with.

I take it then that model is no good as a tractor. Why? Picture looks like a handy size tractor.

I am not familiar with the 1250 Oliver, but looking at the pictures, I will venture a guess that Oliver did not build them, but rather imported them. I will again guess that the engines are built by Mitsubishi? Fiat? ???

The motors were pretty bad and no parts can be gotten for them but they are good to buy for parts as almost all the rest of the parts are the same as the later Fiat built tractors

I can sure see not to refer ads about 12xx models again. :)
I bleed Ford blue, so I generally know of our problem children like the 17xx?s. About any shade of green is an unknown for me.

The tractor was a Fiat, the engines were some Italian military surplus outfits. No parts available.

If you come across a cheap 1250 3 cylinder diesel or a 1265 be sure to post it. They were a decent little tractor.

Hi, We never see Olivers around here. Would a 1250 be about the size of a MF135? Ed Will Oliver BC (no pun)

Probably a little smaller than a 135,they're not too bad a tractor I know where a couple are that are used a lot but the problem is mostly there are no motor parts available except off
parts tractors. No different from a lot of older tractors around these days just buy it cheap and run it until it quits.

I'd be hurting if we didn't have our 1255. Is there one fair set of tires between the 3 of them? One decent set of rims holding paint. $450 delivered to my place.
