What are you sweet corn growers spraying on your corn to control weeds. I remember dad spraying regularly but, I was too young to remember what he sprayed.

I plant round up ready sweet corn. In the
old days I used bicep and atrazine right
after I planted.

Nothing, cultivating, and pulling weeds, and lost 60 lbs, naturally just my own way, had excellent tasting corn last year and kept the weight off for 4 years. Win Win

Not if it is"Roundup Ready" seed. If not, yes it will kill the corn.

24D. but I plant so I can cultivate and I cultivate the day I
plant and hit it once a week or the weeds get ahead of the
corn.

I use Prowl h20, Atrazine and Acuron

I spray a pre emergent Harnness xtra 5.6 then I cultivate and side dress at a few times and it stays clean. If I can already see weeds it is too late for the cultivators.
