I think I finally found my great grandpa's farmall 350 today at an auction it's been gone for 30+ years. It runs really well I drove it home but the T/A is out but that's ok it still drives good the brakes need adjusted and the battery box needs some love but over all I'm happy to have it home. The only it doesn't have is a belt pulley and his did but it could have been taken off so I plan to add one eventually. Can anyone tell me how to check all the fluids like for the power steering and the hydraulics and what not I'd appreciate thanks!

Nick, congratulations on finding your grandpa?s tractor, glad to see it came home, I can?t help you with the fluids and such as I?ve never owned one and the Farmalls are scarce in south Alabama, somebody will chime in here soon and pass along some knowledge

My dads second tractor was a 350. You Don't have a power drawbar. Didnt know it was an option. Love those number tractors. Power steering had to be added as far as I know. Look up under the hood and a power steering unit is cut right into the steering shaft just in front of the gas tank. At least what I have seen. Have fun with it!!

Can add some more. Now don't hold a pea shooter to my head. On the right side of the tractor, look at the three hydraulic handles and then look down maybe 18 inches. There is a pipe plug at an angle that unscrews and it even has a little dip stick on it. Those tripple hydraulics were usually for a powered drawbar. Have a fealing it was removed. Just my opinion but it is just strange.

I had a 300, that came out in 1955. It had a fast hitch. 350?s came out in1956, I would think that the hydraulics were in part for a fast hitch?

Lot of 300 to 450 , even 560's sold around here with standard drawbar and three valve hydraulics. Not unusual at all. In fact, I don't even recall a two lever tractor.

The same around here. Single valve standard drawbar were pretty rare. The 300-350 is a favorite for me.

Nice handy tractor. It's called the Hydra-Touch system. This would be a good time to pull maintenance on it. The reservoir is under the dash. Drain, fill, and strainer are on the right side behind the brake pedals. The strainer is the hydraulic filter that is often neglected.. Four short bolts to remove, clean and replace. The breather is hidden behind the gas tank and should be cleaned. Fill with 7 qts IH trans hydraulic fluid. Start tractor and move handles back and forth ten times. The fill plug has a dip stick.

Nice 350! Only the right side 350 emblem missing. Left rear tire has a break, needs a boot installed. The Horseshoe drawbar was "Standard", the hitch plate bolted to horseshoe was an option as was swinging drawbar swung to the right. Fast-Hitch was an option. Maybe 1/3rd to 1/2 of 350's had FastHitch. Factory power steering would be Behlin unit mounted right ahead of gas tank under the hood, run off proportioning valve from live hyd system. Live PTO was also optional but very very popular, on probably 90+% of 350's.
Does the tach/hour meter work? I recommend getting an operators manual from Binders Books, maybe parts & service manual too.

Battery box seat base on my Stage II Super H was pretty well rotted out by 1979, 25 years old, hate to think how badly rusted a 60+ year old one would be!

Neighbor started farming his 160 acres with only a Farmall 350. His Father-in-law picked his corn with the only MD and 2M picker around, otherwise 350 did it ALL, had it's hands full pulling 3-14 IH #8 plow, His was std drawbar too.

I love the 300s and 350s. First thing I would do is keep them rear wheels from rusting any more, looks like they have fluid in them.

I will second the suggestion to purchase an operator?s manual. In addition to changing the engine oil, clean and refill the air cleaner. To check the level of the transmission fluid, there is a pipe plug on the left side of the transmission housing below the clutch and TA linkage. Make sure you use HyTran or an equivalent. To add fluid to the transmission there is a triangular shaped plate held on with three bolts next to the shift lever. Remove that to add the HyTran. To change the transmission fluid (with TA and independent PTO) there are three places to drain the fluid. This is one of the reasons to get a reprint of the manual.

Thanks everyone! I do plan on getting a manual and going through everything I?ll try and keep everyone updated the best I can!
