fathers day sale only at cheaper than dirt 20% off all ammo, I got about five hundred dollars worth..stocked back up.anybody else shop there?

For practice it's hard to beat the CCI Standard velocity (1070). For match I don't think you can find better then the Federal Ultra Match. Heard it was made in europe.

Just a friendly heads up: STAY AWAY FROM Ultramax remanurfactured ammo. Stuff is junk. Thought I had slam fire, never had that problem before with the 10mm. Too hot of loads and who knows how many times the casings get reused. Cost me a magazine, so in the long run I ended up spending more.

Well for me WHEN i have the extra money Walmarts has the lowest price on ammo that i have found When i can get 200 rounds of 40 cal. for fifty bucks it is great , but still way tomuch . 9 MM is 36 something for two hundred rounds . . yes i would like to do reloading but the start up cost sorta puts a stop to that as i do not shoot as much as days gone by when were were buying case lots , those days are gone . And so are the days of doing several 1000 rounds on a weekend . So for the limited amount that we do now and working on making the wife better we do when we have the time around 400-600 in 9 MM for her gun.

We ran some Browning 9 MM thru the wifes new pistol and had some problems with not enough of a load to cycle the pistol and causing jams , But on a good note she has learned how to clear a jam fast and back on target , had four out of two hundred rounds with failure to fire , couple stove pipes . We have been running different mfg. thur it to see what runs best .

May not be ammo. Some pistols are fussy about what ammo that you put through it and you have to play with ammo till you find what it likes. You may want to take a look at ramp for machining marks.

Aguila supermaximum in 30gr. rolls out at 1700 fps. I've used them for yrs. and they are accurate & reliable. No misfires.....

I had similar issues with brand new M&P Shield 9mm and a Ruger SR9. Using Federal American Eagle. Both guns just needed breaking in. No problems with either after a few hundred rounds.

a lot of folks I shoot against use the Ultra Match with winning results. I also like the CCI standard but use the Wolf Match Extra for practice. The only reason for that is I use Center X for competition and the Wolf has the same lubricant (animal fat/beeswax) where as the CCI looks to use paraffin. Don't want to mix lubricants because it takes too long to shoot out.

I have not had as good luck with it as others have. Yes it is good but it's that one "slight" flyer that will lose a match. The only reason I've been using Center X is a slightly less experience of flyers than with other brands. Don't like the price but I like to win.
