Ford 971 Select-O-Speed transmission fluid

What is the best fluid for the Select-O-Speed transmission. It shows M-2C41 fluid. Does NAPA or someone close have a good Hydraulic fluid that works?

Don't know how to answer that but any quality oil that meets or exceeds the Ford spec is suitable.

Just use the 134D oil. The old M2C41 was
similar in viscosity to dexron

Thanks for the info. I know some are not fans of the Select-O-shift but I have wanted one for a long time. It has always been my experience to change fluids and filters and feel this tractor deserves this attention. Being an automatic, just wanted to make sure the fluid was correct and knew the best info comes from the experience from this forum.
