Watch out in n.j.

Turnips taste much milder then I would have guessed, like a very mild radish. I grow a few acres under oats for cattle to graze in fall. Not bad munching, and they don?t go hard and stalky very early either.

Alligator tastes like a greasy, slightly over cooked chicken. Had some at the fair once.

Poop I?ve not tried to taste, tho I?ve worked in the barn enough to have some concept of it.......

Yes you will or if you?ve ever loaded cows or unloaded cows on a semi . Use to be a bar I went to after work when I lived in town they sold alligator meat and it was dang good about like fish 🐠 I guess they Taste like what they eat

It is not really very big. Three to Four feet. If they kill it I hope they save the meat.

Young raw turnips are actually pretty tasty depending on the variety and if they are under about 2-3 inches. After they are cooked they taste different, but are still palatable.

We have a restaurant here that has great fried gator tail popcorn appetizers. It tastes similar to chicken, but I would rather have the chicken as it is cheaper. We don't find it any greasier than the popcorn chicken.
Some report approximately 30% meat yield from a 10-13 ft. gator or about 80-90 lb if they process it themselves. There seems to be less if it is taken to a processor.? I certainly don't want to have to prepare it from scratch. It's hard wringing a gator's neck. They kick
and will get your cloths muddy and they will need mending.

I think the leg and neck meat has to be tenderized a bit by running over it with a highway tamping roller or a very heavy tractor. Not really sure.
People need to develop a taste for Florida Burmese python. Save the gators. There are plenty of recipes on the net.
