Happy New Year from Scotland

A Very Happy and Prosperous New Year to all of you guys from here in Scotland.

2018 was a good year for us, eldest son got married and youngest son and his wife had their first child, our first grandson, very exciting times.

We had a fantastic vacation in the US and Canada as always, we did our usual road trip where we got as far south as Nashville and Pigeon Forge then up as far north as Montreal then back to friends near Toronto.

Didn't get much tractor time in but hope to get back to it later in 2019.

Now for the technical question, think its been asked before but does anyone have a table comparing tractor tyre sizes. I seem to remember someone showing something that allowed you to see how 30, 34 and 38 inch tyres compared in relation to height etc.

Thank you. I always enjoy hearing from overseas. There used to be a fellow from Ireland, I believe, who did a lot of hedge trimming. I miss his postings.

I have some older tractor tire hand books, put out by the various manufacturers. I prefer turning pages. But now it's all on line. Manufacturers websites have all that information, if you are patient enough to find it.

Was wondering what area you reside in, my great great grandparents immigrated to Canada from Ellon Parish in Aberdeenshire back in 1849 during the second clearance. Just starting to find information on him and his possible parents and siblings, I would like to find the other branches of Craigs from his siblings before visiting one day soon.

Happy Hogmanay!
Hope to be visiting your lovely country again next year or so.
First visit lasted 2 years but this one will be much shorter.
