Going though some of my old magazine adds, I found these. With all the recent talk about jimmys, I though why not post them for your consideration. I threw in the Allison and caddy just cause.

I was told years ago that the military help develop the GM diesel often wander if there was anything to that, nice pictures.
 
From what I remember. The Detroit was consider a waste of time. By the Americans The British were the ones that wanted it. 1938 if I recall.
 

Have anything on the Packard B-1650 Merlin ? There was a bunch of baffled and annoyed Rolls Royce engineers watching those engines being manufactured .

The history books vary depending who wrote them and where ethyl were published .
The Implication as stated was that the two American developments , the 6-71 and the A-bomb won the war.
