Had to go on. Service call to replace a starter on a case ih 585 tractor fiat no longer offers a starter but we found an aftermarket one for 275$ it was pretty easy to swap out

Looks like a Lucas. Any experience I had with them was negative. I don't know how a company like that stays in business.
