Was digging through my toy tractor 🚜 room and found this . Also found all the receipts for the rebuild I did on my 4020 in 2002

Saw one of those (red) sell at an auction a few years ago. Not sure I?ve really seen any others. They weren?t around long, or at least many.

They were just a fiat tractor with hesston decals . Operating one is kinda like an octopus in a tin can some levers up on the dash some on each side and couple on the floor for good measure

Who would have thought that CASE, IH, Farmall and New Holland would have "ceased to be" and the "Fix it Again, Tony" company would have become the owner of those "classic" American brand names!

Bob It?s awful alright. Kinda of like how Agco has
now pretty much dropped the hesston name for
Massey Ferguson they?ve dropped the Agco name
from the tractors and there ain?t an orange or silver
tractor anywhere to be found unless you count the
kubota some of the dealers are selling

Apparently they are doing a good job with Dodge P/Us, er ah RAM. My current is a '11 Silverado only because it's the nearest dealer....but well pleased
with both. Previous 3 were Dodge and Rams, '98 360, '07 4.7, '09 Hemi, good luck with all of them, none Fiat however. It appears that they are a shot in
the arm. Just like the TYM acquisition of Branson tractors. I have 2. Looks like the shot in the arm (at the top management) Branson needed to move
out in the market. Serve me well.

I remember there was a Hesston tractor sitting beside someones house when I was little. It was pretty obvious it hadn't run for a while. Then I assume it got hauled off it just disappeared. That is the only Hesston tractor I remember seeing. I like the work horses on the bench but I don't think Trigger should be hidden underneath.

I go through my cabinets of motorcycle parts, and it's just like Christmas. Finding something new each time, I didn't realize I had. Stan

Thats a pretty good description of it. Neighbor had two that I drove a couple times. Their cabs weren't meant for anyone over 6 foot, either!

My dad bought this one new after I went off to college. It was a nice tractor, but really cumbersome with the loader on it, a go cart without it. I was disappointed with the torque rise...once the rpms dropped it would fall flat. Broke the crankshaft around 2000 hours, pto quit later on. My brother took it and a guy was supposed to fix the pto in exchange for the loader, I think it is still sitting somewhere waiting to get fixed.

Eldon Fiat could build a light tractor and get away
with it in their homeland if you watch some of the
plowing videos they can pull 6 or 7 bottoms with 70
or 80 horsepower and just roll along like they were
pulling a spike tooth harrow
