New record water levels here in Canada.
Ottawa River is the border between Quebec and Ontario and is at record high and not yet a peak.

Link to excellent drone footage of Chaudi?re Ring Dam and surrounding generating stations.
Green bridge has been closed since Sunday.

Mostly residential hard hit in this area up and down river.
They thought it was 100 year flood in 2017, this one is new record and climbing.
My location is 6 miles from river higher elevation, but I cross the river on another bridge to my work site.
 
Mississippi river at Davenport Ia is at 5th highest record level. Today the "Hesco" barriers failed. Hesco barriers are like large sand bags. Downtown Davenport is flooded. Car abandoned on the streets as people ran to higher ground.
 
Don't know my geography for up there very well. Does that flow south to Lake Ontario? Buddy at work has a cottage in Cape Vincent and watches the lake very carefully. 2 years ago he lost his new dock.

The Ottawa river flows east and empties into the St Lawrence river at Montreal and continues east toward the Atlantic.
Lake Ontario empties east into the St Lawrence and continues east to Montreal.
 
Considering the US drainage system, haven't seen any news about the Old Muddy over it's banks...surely it is by now with all the precip. from above. Learned when I was a kid and TV first came out...round screen.....don't live near a river, especially a big one....bad, bad.
