Yep, sure fire way to do it too. Gonna mow the first field today, supposed to be around 90 the rest of the week with just a chance of pop up showers so that means a cloud burst the day it's dry enough to bale. Keith

Same here.....no rain 10 days. Ill move equipment today and start cutting tomorrow. Bale Sunday.
Which means rain, fog, volcanos, locusts, tsunamis, bubonic plague and brush fires Sunday.

We finished putting in the garden this past weekend.......no rain in forecast for at least 10 days! I knew that would dry things up in Central AL. Oh well , rain barrels are full. We will see how long they last.

I'd like to try that here too but the hay is so short that a lawn mower could cut it. I've been stalling and dragging my feet to prolong planting until we get some badly needed rain but nothing works. Just endless East winds with no rain. Most of South Sask. is under extreme fire hazard now.

We?ve only mowed lawn once, furnace has kicked on for several days now, hay and alfalfa is short yet, lot of water sitting in the fields, might warm up to the 50s today.

We can dream of making hay here. Old bad hay bales are selling for crazy prices, if you have any.

I can?t bring myself to believe a 10 day forcast anymore. Weather channel changes forcast sometimes several times a day. Sorry had to vent, just had 7 inches yesterday.
