Reminds me of when we first laid eyes on our rusty Regular... she was covered up by a big, old honeysuckle.
 
A Fowler ploughing engine (steam traction engine)
from the UK. Some of the largest UK built traction
engines. They worked in pairs (they were handed,
left and right) and used the cable drums to haul a
(usually) 6 furrow reversible plough back and forth.
Also used for harrowing and dredging ponds and
lakes. Not sure where it is but if it?s still there it
should be worth rescuing. Sam
 
I could be wrong but I think many were still in use through WW2. I think coal was more available than petrol. Sam
