Thought I was done for the day, but saw this--see what happens when you don't have a good Deere center post!!That off brand stuff does not hold up!---Tee

Dropping that tree on that expensive piece of equipment, with the reputation as being very high quality and generally regarded as better than JD, was exceptionally stupid. Why did you do that?

I agree that?s why you had to haul all you cases out of the junk yard because nobody wanted them meanwhile my John Deere?s have been on the job the last 50 years

A gutless 3020 pulling a 16 foot cultivator with a 16 foot hoe drill burning 1.5 to the acre

I took several pics of much newer jds in the junk yard yesterday.

And my DC has been with is since new in 1955 and still runs every day, and based on your posts will pull as much as your 4020.

Finally, are you saying that all the good folks here who have pulled dead jds out of the fence row and brought them back to life are proof that JD is inferior? Because there have been plenty. What's sad is that some of you can't get even close to the truth with your posts, you think a blatant lie is ok as long as it's against someone else. If your willing to lie so easily about that, what else will you lie about?

I have to agree with Jon about case having better construction equipment. I use to run an 850 case and a 550 deere and never did figure out the darn deceleration pedal on the deere.

I have always heard case had good construction equipment . I just like anything whatever you get used to whether its a case John Deere cat or whatever

The old center post is still going

Mean while I am working on this

Guess I need to change my name to Tony and grease my hair!

My Deere Gator runs 28% better since I installed "THE POST"-But--I about hit a bus load of orphans the other day--pulled right out in front of me and didn't see them!---Tee

Big Tee, What they figured they weren?t stuck enough might as well pull a tree on it too! Only have my phone to see the picture and looks like they rigged some lines to the trees to get themselves out.

The Case series 3 650K I operated had the deceleration pedal. Took a little getting used to after being on the 550G. I liked the 650 but I think that old 550G will still be going 20 years from now. Had electrical problems at 1400 hours on the 650K. Spent alot of money chasing that gremlin!

If you look closer at that case excavator you can see that the tree bounced off the cab and rolled onto the engine. The cab is still intact.
