Made my brother in law a bench for his birthday using his late grandpa's Ford tractor fenders.

Nice! I was thinking of doing something similar with a pair of
fenders I have, but mine have no emotional connection like yours!
 
If I was going to do that I would have put the fenders on like they were on the tractor and not in reverse so smoth part to seating side. The curve at the top like that could be very uncomfortable leaning against the edge. And I do have a 9N & 2N.
 
I thought the same thing about how the fenders are mounted.That would be nice to suspend from an A frame so it was like a glider seat.--------Loren
 

I see what you mean by turning them around. Would make a little more room too. If I make another one may go that route. Thanks!
