Steffes auction had a sale in western Minn. today and sold 2 low houred Deere combines----Big $$$$---Tee

1990 9600-208 hrs. brought $68,000

1983 8820-15 hrs. brought $75,500--Never been in the field.

All of a sudden I feel rich!!!

Probably used it for tax deduction, some farmers do that you know.

If a combine has been sitting that long unused, would the hopper be level full of raccoon crap or do they quit after one layer?

I?d say that 9600 was a steal,still can easily get parts and it?s barely broken in. Big machine to boot

In 1983 there wasn't much need for tax deductions. Keeping profits low just kind of happened naturally.
