Dave I think the fellow that died taught bible study at a jail weekly. The fellow posting seems pretty religious too. He is looking for the oil filter number, oil capacity and fuel filter numbers for a Case Maxxium 115 that ahs a 411 cubic inch engine.

P.S. The fellow posting likes to use text short hand too. Makes it a little hard to figure out what he is meaning. LOL

Why don't you do what I do and pay a visit to your local CaseIH dealer. They will have everything you need. There were variations of that tractor so it would be a good idea to take the serial # with you.

My Maxxum 125 also has the 411 cu in engine and the engine oil drain plug is 12mm Allen. I would think your dealer could ship you what you need for about the same cost as you making a 70 mile round trip. At any rate, if it were me, I would use CaseIH stuff. Why? The tractor isn't yours. CaseIH recommends Akcela oil in the txmn and front axle. Engine oil is probably 15w40. That's what mine is this time of year. Rotella would be my choice although CaseIH says their engine oil is better because trucks and farm tractors don't operate the same. Their oil is R&Dd for farm tractors. I wouldn't use anything but Akcella in the transmission because that was developed for their transmissions and, in your case, if something goes wrong down the road, as in the hands of a new owner?? At least you did everything reasonable and didn't try to cut corners. The same goes with filters.

I'm 45 miles from Oshkosh and have flown in and out of Oshkosh as both a passenger and a pilot. I used to fly with the Wisconsin National Guard and, at that time, the commander of the 32d Infantry Division lived in Oshkosh. So, I'd drive all the way down to West Bend, right past Oshkosh, and then fly back to Oshkosh to pick the general up and take him around on his visits. My youngest son is the editor-in-chief of Flying Magazine and will be at the show, as always. I'll probably shoot for a night show, weather permitting. Oh, I remember flying out of Oshkosh as a passenger in a DC-3 with old North Central Airlines on what they billed as a "Beer Flight". You got a can of Schlitz beer and a bag of peanuts for the flight to Milwaukee. Pretty funny. Other airlines were offering champagne flights at that time. All north Central could muster up was a beer flight.
