Old Cub still earning it's keep! Love the way it cuts grass! Glad to see Bubba still happy to drive it. He got his driver's permit last week and I was afraid he would forget his old tractor!

He looks happy. Tall skinny feller. Looks like mine at that age. Grew to be 6' 6" and about 230 lbs. Couldnt keep him in pants that summer, or shoes.

Looks pretty green down there. We are still really green here.
Hope we get some of those promised showers the rest of the week after today.
Got to put the 5 foot finish mower on my 52 8N today and get back to mowing.
Don't hog all the rain. Send some up to NW SC.
I had a Cub with a Woods mower under it years ago.
Will call you soon and tell you a somewhat funny story about it.

Grass looks pretty high for a cub to handle ? Maybe it is easy cutting grass ? Up here in Ohio many people got cubs only to get rid of them and buy a model A farmall to have enough power to mow with.
 
I saw a old IH promotional ad. Said the Cub was a ?truck farm? tractor. Small enough to use your existing horse equipment and big enough to provide power around a big farm. With the accompanying 1 bottom 12? plow you could plow 13 acres a day in suitable soil.
 
Maby in that part of Ohio, Not here in the western part as Cubs yes , A's no. About any A was brought in by a collector for shows. B or BN slightly but that size tractor did not come around for use untill the C.

If used as a lawn mower, it is pretty good. But if used as a bush hog, not very good. My neighbor had one, it would cut 6 inch grass great, 12 inch was a 2 pass operation. It is basically a small finish mower.
 
you are correct no way can you plow that much in a day even if you ran some with lites. 13A was a pretty good day with 2-14 and a f-20
