Ron Kato Nokes Swather

Ron, I looked up the magazine with the 1950 self propelled swather on the front. It is a Canadian built machine called the "Pioneer-Hitterdahl. They don't say where its built but it was distributed by Western Agricultural Supply in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Thanks for looking that up and posting the ad. Visiting with John, he mentioned the Hitterdahl name. Sure looks like one copied the other so who was first ?? I am able to read the ad and it says the canvas stops during turns. Very interesting. Seems that would make some nice clean corners with little or no grain damaged.
