I have my dad's model 99 300 savage has the brass tumbler and counter. It's one of the best I ever shot. Dad bought new around 1948. I sold a Remington 760 Gamemaster 30-06 needed cash at the time. Sure am sorry I did that.(quoted from post at 10:13:12 07/29/19) Wish I had of kept my Dad?s old John Deere 40-T, also wish I still had my 1956 and 57 Chevy Belair?s , sold a pre-64 Winchester 300 mag rifle and a Savage 99 in 300 Savage I wish I had of kept. Lots of regrets in my lifetime of things I should have held on to....
