4010 John deere

I have a friend that has a 4010. It has been changed from positive ground to negative ground. His fuel gauge does not work. He has tried a new gauge. Does he need a negative ground gauge and sending unit.

Gauge needs to be swapped out. Post this on the DEERE-specific Forum lower down on the page, DEERE GURU "TimS" has the part number.

The sender is the same a different gauge is needed,, the Deere replacement gauge is bigger and does not fit the dash well,,call Jerry Trcka of
EverGreen Restorations 715-635-8629 for the right gauge and half the price of Deere
