Possibly, just possibly was power unit to be coupled with another tractor for early dual tractor
set-up. Just thinking of the two John Deere G's I noticed some time ago at Rantoul show. As I
recall two G/s were made into a compact dual set=up for plowing by a seed company. Thinking purpose
was to plow deep in seed corn fields to prevent weeds and corn borer or some such reason. Any of you
old guys recall those G,s?

I think the small shaft on the front wheel is for turning brake and there is a steering shaft on top of the pedestal. Ron MN
I believe it must steer with the back wheels and what appears to be a steering control rod to the
front caster wheel must be a limit stop control. This limit stop control must make it easier to
steer on the straightaway -- in road gear. Just my opinion. Would be nice to have some information
on strange pics such as this one .
