FL1A OK TO USE ON A FORD 650 RED TIGER ENGINE?

I was reading on some forums here that it is ok to,use the motorcraft FL1A oil filter on a red tiger 134 cu" series motor. It currently has a red no brand oil filter on it that is slightly shorter than the FL1A filter
The tractor in question is a ford 1955 650. Thanks fellas!

Yes that's a common Ford filter that
has fit hundreds of Ford tractors and
cars for decades. I do believe the
original Ford tractor filter was
shorter but makes no difference

It's a very common filter base size, fit many of our Chrysler vehicles, my Toyota pickup, it's amazing how common it is

Makes me want to drive an hour to my farm and do an oil change on my worn out but trusty ford 650!

If you need the shorter version of the FL1A then get the FL300, if you need a more narrow diameter an FL400 will fit.

Ford to Wix numbers

FL1A = 51515
FL300 = 51068
FL400 = 51516
