ford 4000 4 cyl gas

i have a pre 64 4000 for tractor i bought used. The 172 gas engine has a fuel pump port on it.
This i assume is an Industrial engine. Will it present any problems in the 4000 tractor?

Should cause no problem other then another place to leak oil

This tractor has had the fuel pump port capped for the 15 years I have had it with no problems. You can see the cover behind the front tire if you blow up the picture.
