Amish auction

I'd of had to hit that H a few times $550 very original with fenders and good lights, would have loved to get that rotary hoe I break them down into single units and sell them to
guys working deer plots with 4 wheelers.

How is the auctioneer reasonable about what things are worth? He isn't going to stop and give it to someone for what he thinks is a fair price if others are bidding. At an auction the buyers set the price

The price the Auctioneer starts to ask for a given piece of equipment, should be very close to what the actual selling price or value of said equipment. Not some pie in the sky ask like $150,000.00 for a combine which only ends up selling for 50 Grand. And these guys didn?t spend long asking for more bids, once biding had slowed, they dropped the hammer. I like that kind of auction, sharpens the bidders up. They came to do business not visit, and if you aren?t paying attention, you could miss out. That is what I am referring to as realistic.

I don't have sperakers on my putor so I could not hear what things brought. Those Maytags are very much high in demand as the only wringer washer built that can have a gas engine put in because they are for a horisantal engine and a belt drive. I have bought a lot of them for the Amish that I work with. Price has been going up so much they cannot afford them. A decent reconditioned unit withe the hinged lid now will retail fot in range of $700, Possibly more As I am not now fully up on things. I think there are some new washers being built now but not nearly the quality of those old Maytags that will be running for anouther hundred years. All parts are avaible to repair any of them. And they will fly and go back to work. In 15 I had a god one on by truck tied down with 5 or 6 straps when a car did not slow for a stop sign and weraped be around a power pole. Washer flew over 75 feet landing in a bean bield. Jocky I got it for was going to repair the dammage for resale.
