Lawn mower look at blades in front!!!

Looks like the front wheels were made to drivee a reel type lawn mower, gear teeth inside the wheels.

The front wheels were the same as my grandfather's push reel mower (brand not remembered) One wheel drive is better than the ridiculous non differential on some walk
behinds. At least the operator could turn! Jim

My Dad had that same garden tractor, with sickle mower,and cultivator also. It was bought new from Spiegel's catalog
center. My Dad used that cultivator for years, till the engine wore out, than he replaced the engine and used some more.
When my Dad passed in 1974, the steel wheel was getting thin and chipping off at outer edge. The pinion gear also had been
rebushed.
