New Holland 1630 Question

My boss at work is looking for a tractor and loader for his new house in the country. He found a New Holland 1630 with a 7308 loader. It has new tires, 4x4, 6?blade, 4? bush hog and a 72? belly mower for 6500obo. It has a recent motor overhaul. Pictures look good. Are these a good outfit?What to look for? Price reasonable?Thanks, Chris
 
I got one with 2500 hours. It been back to the dealer twce since 1998. Once to put the loader on and once for the aux. hydraulic install. That tractor is bullet proof. The thing to consider is it's 20 years old and it's a Shibara . Parts are getting scarce and expensive. Good Luck.
 
New Holland is a good tractor and they are still built by shibaura to this day the old ford compact and sub compacts are hard to get parts for because ford kept the rights to the tractors when ford and new Holland had to split the sheets during the cnh global merger New Holland even had to use a different shade of blue after that
 
sv only the compact and sub compact tractors are shibaura my 75 hp new Holland tractor was built in Italy
 
Thanks for the reply's, I'm not familiar with them at all.I guess he doesn't have to worry about it, he called at lunch to set up a time to look at it and it was already sold. Have to keep looking to find him a tractor and loader before the bad snows set in here in Iowa. Thanks, Chris
