Barter on TY?

Is it appropriate to post a Barter on YT?

I've never seen it done before. Just asking, don't want to get shamed for posting a Barter.

Never seen anything on classified section either.

No money? Hardly, every store and restaurant in my area is usually packed,new vehicles on the road,every builder and earth mover I know has way more work to do than they
can handle.Plus help wanted signs in about every business I go in to.

That is the way it is in my little county, churches are renting out their Sunday school rooms for workers coming in and unable to find a place to stay. Folks getting hundred dollars a week to throw an extension cord and water hose out and let guys park a camper.

Alberta Canada. With oil patch gone to the dogs and stupid prime minister we have, and lay offs happening. It?s not good. Just lucky to have a job. Plus ya.. our oil rigs and companies moving to the U. S. And farmers hardly can get crops off due to wet weather. I did not get mine off. It?s a bad situation here. No pipeline being built yet either. And U. S. Getting our oil cheap.

You asked me no to reply to your posts but since you replied to one of mine I guess the field is open? I?m all for the barter system, there is plenty of money out there for people to buy and sell but nothing wrong with trading items you don?t need or want with someone who has what you need. I?m all in on the idea.

Don't see anything wrong with barter. Gotta do what you gotta do.

Seen some of that in the news. Sorry things are that bad.

Things are far from bad. Just wondering
why there's isn't a place to post where
people can list barter.

After thought, not really practical,

Landscaper I know can't keep help paying them $20 hr to ride a Zero Turn mower,places like Walmart and Sams will hire anyone that can move,on crutches,in wheel chairs etc
they'll find you a place you can work in their store.

I work trades all the time for machinery,parts,firewood,work on my equipment you name it I've probably traded it at one time or another.Traded a group of Latino guys that were cutting off the power lines around my area a bunch of tomatoes for them clearing off some small trees and brush.they had about 20 guys working here before they finished.Came back by and dropped off the baskets I lent them to carry the tomatoes too.

Good idea George. Guys trading large equipment . Tractors (large_} for say big combines would save a lot of cash in taxes.
