muddy today, stinky tomarrow

wife has been laid up with a bad knee for a month and is finally on her feet again. Went to cupboard and found she was down to 1 jelly jar of horseradish. Sent me out to the patch and dug up a wheel barrow of horseradish root. Going to clean and run the root through a processor and jar it up. So Im muddy today and stinking tomarrow.

mike henryh,

I absolutely like the taste of a homemade coarse-ground horseradish (hot). The smell is strong, but to me it is worth it. Good luck,

D.

hey, sarge, do you have a recipe? I crock pot my beef tongues with a jar of pepperocini and a beer, then skin and thin slice in a food processor. Kind of gives an Italian beef sandwich.

Local Mexican restaurant makes a killer lingue burrito- soft like beef-flavored butter, but won't give up his secret.

My Grandpa Miller had a great horseradish patch started growing into the yard. Canned horseradish by the quart. Miss it now LOL

hoped there would be a good response and some usuage ideas. To make this a tractor related thing I did have to remove my old Farmall H from the barn to do this project. Got over 16 pints. Gave 2 to to fatherinlaw and 1 to the neighbor lady who joined us for for a visit and rememberances of doing it with family past.
