Wouldn't think there would be enough engine to be able to utilize the front axle.

That 4x4 Cub Cadet 100 was converted to 4WD by Dan Hoefler in Wisconsin. He is a master machinist by trade.
He made the transfer case from scratch.
The dirt pan is also his creation.
I tried to find if he has a website featuring his creations, but no luck. He has many others.

And no, the front axle is not a dana 60, that would have been way too big. It is a dana though but out of a golf cart.
