I live in south La. is there a website in my area used to locate equipment? I?m looking for a used dirt pan or blade on wheels resembling a box scraper to move dirt. I will be using a 70 hp tractor

There is a guy located in Hardin who advertises on there. He has dirt boxes. Only about 1.5 hours from La line east of Beaumont.
 
Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace are good places to look. If your patient good deals come along. You have to be able to go fetch the item fast or someone else will.
 
I use Tractor House. I enter my zip code and start with the closes to me. Its been a good source for me for used equipment.
 
"searchtempest" is a website tool that searches all craigslist locations within within a given distance for ads for what you are looking for.

What Parish are you in? There is a good place in Forest Hill and another in Oberlin and another in Elton right off the top of my head. Check out the Louisiana market bulletin, it is available online but it will be a month old issue if you are not a subscriber, Louisiana residents get free subscription and it comes out every 14 days, the market bulletin has all farm related classifieds from livestock to feed and hay to farmland to tractors and equipment.

There is a guy right there in Cade who advertises all kinds of implements on Lafayette craigslist all the time.
