I think that it is very funny how often someone predicts that a thread will get poofed yet it doesn't. Maybe our hosts aren't as heavy handed as many like to make out that they are.

A moderator can't be online 24/7 and they sure can't read every post. Some things slip by.

I cant believe how many times people are warned but cant abstain from changing a post to make it political. That is disrespectful to our hosts.
Yes at times I have to hold back on what I would like to say to be respectful to our hosts and others on this sight.

Seems to me that not long ago, one of our hosts posted something to the effect of not discussing moderation issues on the forums.

I try to abide by that.

They have also said to discuss moderation issues in the "feedback forum" via a link in left column of homepage.

I spent half an hour searching for a "feedback forum" link and could not find it.

the feed back forum is at the bottom left of the home page in the miscellaneous column.

I question the wisdom in openly complaining about poofed posts, and/or turning around and stubbornly restarting the conversation.

They don't remove much around here so if it was removed you can count on it being for good reason.
