As any of you know who have ever searched the 'net by part number for an obsolete tractor part, there's a small handful of "companies" that always come up, seem to have a part for EVERYTHING, but very little feedback or "about us" information.

I've seen several posts on the various individual brand Boards here over the last few years mentioning a couple of the names and asking if anyone had dealt with them, or had any info, good or bad, and no one seems to reply.

So I'm just tossing this out here on the "Tractors" Board.

Anyone have ANY knowledge or experience with any of these outfits? Somebody sure is putting a lot of effort into listing all the parts catalog info for LOTS of obscure parts!

When you google a part number, a lot of webpages that pop up are merely someone in their mothers basement.
Their webpage has virtually every possible part number.
Once they get an inquiry from someone they then go out and search for it just like you or I could via various search engines.

Then maybe buy it and have it drop shipped.

Or maybe they do like the craigslist scammers and get you to send funds and never get anything in return.
 
Yup, not very hard to figure out the part
flippers. Not necessarily bad but anytime
an operation like that has had a part
listed that nobody else has I always send
them an email saying check stock and if
available I will place order. Always
comes back, "part out if stock"
 
I think they try to make a buck reselling things they find. I needed a replacement hydraulic hose for my excavator recently. Figured out the part number and googled it and found about 3 sites saying they had or could get it for about $200. Also checked the dealer and they had one at a distribution center. Got it in 2 days and it cost $65 plus $15.00 shipping.
