Pulled this home last week, for Richard G, I parked it on the lawn. My wife said if she is gonna cut grass I needed to move it! Looks good behind the 960. Oh , I should also mention that I had a baler and haybine on the lawn too......yikes!

While you got it hooked up, you might as well just pull it on up here.
Would not take over about 5 or 6 days.LOL.
I will call you later today if that is OK.
Richard

Are you going to grow corn now? Open pollinated corn seed is hard to come by this year for some varieties, all you need with that is a corn sheller to get in the seed corn business.

Gary, he picked that up for me.
With my wife recovering from knee replacement, gonna be a little longer before I can run down there and get it.
He is doing me a great favor storing it till I can get there.

Looks like its in real nice shape good find.I'm thinking seriously of planting some open pollinated corn to sell next year thinking of Wade's Giant grew some a couple years ago just to try it 2 huge ears on each stalk which was about 10 or 12 ft tall.Sure I can sell all I'd ever grow to people in this area.

A friend that lives about 15 miles north of me in the mountains brought me some Keener corn yesterday.
Huge ears.
He said it makes great corn meal and moonshine.

Aww- just build a shed over all that equipment, and she won't have to mow there! LOL! But, speaking of parking equipment on the lawn, when I was growing up we always parked stuff on the big side yard next to my Grandma's house. The 8n was mostly used for raking hay all summer and stayed on the rake, and if we came in from mowing, we just parked the mower tractor and the hay conditioner tractor on the yard too. Sometimes the bushhog or the disc sat there too. We'd come in and go to the milk barn, so it was just handy. When I had to mow the yard I guess I mowed around things. Mark.

Richard, I was just thinking about posting and asking whether you had gotten it home yet. Guess my question got answered!
Nice looking unit! Looks like those gathering chains will need a little attention.

Yep, I knew the gathering chains needed work.
I got time to take care of things before I will need to pick corn.
