New tractor additions

Seems as though all of the auctions have went to online only around here. Miss the social aspect but seems as though there are some really good deals to be found. Picked up a ‘29 Farmall regular a couple weeks ago and a ‘47 MM RTU yesterday. The Farmall is complete except for front tires and the starting tank, I think will run with a little tinkering. The RTU looks like an older restoration, good tires and decent paint. Added gas and a battery and after cleaning the points I drove it off the trailer. Just sharing what I found for new tractors Mike

Boy that rtu looks straight, look at that grill.

And did you post questions about the aftermarket enclosure for steering gears on the regular? Were you able to find any information?

I did post about the steering gear enclosure, another poster had one that looked almost identical but a different name was on it. Other than that I have not been able to find out much. Safe to say I have the only one on my farm at least!

Yes it is dry out here, to dry at times. I am in a 12-14 inch rainfall area in eastern Washington. Head a few miles farther west and it is a 8-10 inch annual rainfall zone. Picked up 3/4 inch of rain yesterday so that should finally get the rest of the wheat to germinate and come up. Have had less than an inch total since mid June until this storm came through.
