1952ar gear shift

Hello! My 1952ar is hard to come out of gear at times. Way harder than it should when I want to change from the selected gear to , say reverse. It seems to be an issue that wasnt happening a while ago. Any ideas what might be causing this and how to proceed.

The first thing I would check would be the clutch pulley brake. If out of adjustment, makes shifting difficult. Just my
experience.

Thanks for the reply. Im not sure how to adjust the clutch pulley brake. Ill have to see if any of my books shows anything.

X2 pulley brake. Even with it in perfect adjustment it is helpful to hold clutch lever ahead a bit when shifting so everything kinda "relaxes" Just a habit we got into without even thinking.
